Crafted with 100% cotton duck canvas with a Durable Water Repellent finish, this Men's Waxed Canvas Service Jacket is wind-resistant and suitable for all of your outdoor and workplace needs. The coat has a classic Dickies design, with a soft, quilted interior. It features contrasting wax-coated piecing for both style and weather protection. The jacket has triple-needle reinforced stitching to add durability. You can store your items in the jacket’s two lined hand pockets, a secure zippered chest pocket, and a back hem stash pocket.

Found on sale, good quality made jacketI purchased this jacket for my Dad, he's around 6ft tall and is a bigger guy. He really liked the color, it's a lil' longer than what he's used to, but he did say he liked the quality, the pocket size and it was warm.

Spot Cleaning OnlySince the "Materials & Care" section does not mention anything about cleaning, for people who would like to know before deciding on the purchase, the only cleaning method is spot cleaning. If you are familiar with waxed canvas jackets, this is the normal cleaning procedure. For the lining, you can spray white vinegar, vodka, or an odor eliminator.
I like the fit, which is not overly relaxed. I l do like the drop tail, as it is more maneuverable when the front part is shorter in comparison to long chore coats.
It is not really heavy yet very warm.
30% off was a really good deal for me.
This kind of waxed coat looks better and better as it ages, if you know what I mean.

What happened?Color is good but the design looks awful particularly the drop flap at the back of the jacket. It looks like a diaper bag.

It’s okayNice jacket that fits well. The pockets don’t make sense. Description said zippered stash pocket when it’s a snap. This drastically changes what you can put in that pocket. And that’s forgetting the pocket has no real purpose or use being a side entry. Only 1 inside pocket and it’s a Velcro side entry, lots of things can fall out. Again, no real use for the inside pocket. Lastly, 1 zippered breast pocket like most jackets. The material seems strong but that’s all it’s got. Nothing really sets the jacket apart aside from the negative. Non-functional pockets and no real work application. The fit is good so I’ll wear it but if I use it for work I know every time I swing my arms the sleeves will roll up. What happened to simple jackets that could take a beating and have normal pockets?

1 star for no exchange policyI bought this jacket on a sale and loved it but it was two big so I had to return it. Because the sale was over and Dickies doesn’t offer exchanges ONLY returns I wasn’t able to get the jacket I wanted in the right size for the same price. Had to return the jacket and I am now left cold with NO JACKET :(

Great jacketGreat looking jacket. I ordered the green color and I would say it is slightly more brown in person but still a good color. I bought this as a gift for someone else but it seems pretty thick/warm so far.

Tough and DurableLove it. I have been looking for one like this for a while.
Not to heavy but heavy enough to keep you warm.
We have only had a few cold days, but I like it. The fit is perfect.
The material seems to be tough and durable.
I recomend this jacket.
