stonewashed dickies bibs journey
looking for an easy stylish fashionable garment to knock around in the house or to toss on for quick trips out. or dress up a bit for a night. bibs seemed to be the answer and dickies the brand. read sizing info carefully but still ordered a size or two larger for shrinkage and slouch. got the stonewashed for softness and the look. ez order, item arrived ahead of schedule, adequate minimalist packing. the bibs look great, soft sturdy fabric, nicely cut pieced and stitched. plenty of pockets, snaps buttons zippers loops hidden features. the dickies labels look great, colorful and old school. the size was quite large as promised and quite long. a couple of hot washes and hot dries and the oversizing is very manageable. so I've been wearing them in the house to make them fit and make them mine, you know how you gotta do denim so they're just right. so far so good. looking forward to "dressing them up", plaid flannel shirt and a pair of boots or trainers. I expect the fit and look will continue improve with wearing and washing. stay tuned or get ahold of me in a couple of months for an update.

Could be great
These overalls are great with two exceptions. First, the inseam is waaaay to long. I have a 36 inseam and bought 34 after reading the reviews. Still too long by about 2 inches. Second, the legs are so baggy, they are functional but are almost like bell bottom ants that go all the way to the crotch. Otherwise good quality and price.

Quality and economy all in one
Very relaxed fit. Larger in the leg than I anticipated but not terrible. The denim is great quality.

disappointed
I purposely ordered them 2 inches short of usual and they were still too long. I don't think they shrink that much with wash. So I ordered another indigo pair 2 inches shorter still and they drag on the ground but I can hopefully shrink to fit. I've gone from 34 to 30 to fit and I haven't shrunk 4 inches. Check your measurements!

Great bibs but too long
The Stonewashed Indigo Bib Overalls are way too long and one of the crossover strap wire that clips onto the button has broken. I bought a pair of 34x30 and they are 2” too long so I had to cut the bottom of legs so I wouldn’t trip. I am 68 yrs old and afraid I may fall because they are too long.

Great Overall
Everything is good about these overalls....except the leg length is way too long. 30 inseam is more like 34.

Next time, store so they can be tried on.
The last pair I ordered (34 X 32) were too long, I needed to cut 2 inches off the lenght. So this time I ordered 34 X 30 thinking that just the lenght would be shorter, but I feel that the body is shorter also. The straps can not be let out any further, also I think the bib is lower.
